Quality Statement
Fala Group’s quality statement serves to comply with the Terms and Conditions of engineer and client contracts, and with the applicable regulatory and legal requirements of the industry, environment, and safety. Contracts require us to complete the planned work according to agreed-upon specifications, within an agreed-upon timeframe, and at the agreed-upon price. These are fundamental requirements of the construction industry and FALA will continue to meet these requirements.
FALA recognizes that maintaining a sufficient margin to invest is dependent on continually improving our techniques and the competencies of our people, so that client wishes, shareholder profits, and employee expectations are fully realized. By doing so, prospective clients will have no qualms negotiating further business with our company.
FALA recognizes that key material suppliers and specialized subcontractors contribute to our success; we are committed to maintaining close and beneficial partnerships with these parties. While projects are underway, we are committed to reducing any issues to a realistic extent, within the limits of each contract, in order to preserve these relationships.
Fala Group is committed to our continual progress by establishing company-wide quality improvement objectives. The objectives are communicated down through the organization, so that each level understands its role in attaining these objectives. Once branch- and department-level objectives are met, they are reviewed according to this Quality Statement. The results are then used to prepare new objectives. This Statement is regularly reviewed by upper-management for accuracy and relevance.
Quality Policy
Fala Group’s senior management is fully committed to operating and maintaining a Quality Management System in its design offices and at project construction sites; this system is based on the ISO 9001:2000.
The abovementioned system is thereby initiated in line with the company’s Quality Policy. It is within FALA’s policy to design, procure, construct, install, and commission all projects as per their respective requirements, to the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability, and in accordance with engineering practices, statutory regulations, and codes of practice to meet client needs.
This Quality Policy, respective Project Management Plans (PMP), and any relative occupational procedures must contain details of FALA’s organizational management and a summary of key responsibilities. In addition, it is within our policy to promote continuous improvement and maintain a culture based in customer satisfaction. It is also within our policy to identify and provide suitable, qualified, and experienced human resources as well as appropriate equipment to efficiently and effectively manage the necessary work for each project.
FALA’s quality objectives are defined in detail in our Quality Management System and are subject to regular review at periodic internal QA audits. For assessment of the Quality Management System, full access is granted to the client and his engineering representative(s). For implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System, full authority is assigned to the respective QA manager to audit, identify problems, and initiate necessary actions to resolve the problems so that they are wholly addressed.
All FALA staff are responsible for ensuring that their role in our Quality Management System is managed in an accurate and satisfactory manner, thereby consistently meeting the agreed-upon objectives. This Quality Policy and the details of our Quality Management System are widely communicated throughout the company. The QA manager ensures they are understood and checks regularly for their implementation.
